Miss Happ photoshoot

I just had to share this fantastic pic taken yesterday at a photoshoot by local photographer Kim van Zyl - the perfectly pinup model Miss Letitia is of course wearing all Miss Happ clothing & accessories! It was an awesome opportunity for us to get some great shots of our newest Miss Happ range and I jumped at the chance to provide the wardrobe.

The venue for the shoot was the Old Mill Rod & Custom workshop - a space filled with hot cars and a fabulous back drop of the shoot!

I cannot wait to share more of the pics - watch this space!

Cape Town's first Rockabilly festival

Popcorn, candy floss, hot dogs and coke floats. Pre-60’s cars, custom cafĂ© racer style bike and V8′s. Bike Polo and Derby girls, bowling on the oldest bowling alley and of course Miss Happ was there!

On the 20th of April we joined in the fun at the FIRST Dusty Rebels and the Bombshells Rockabilly Festival held at the German Club (Cape Town) an old skool venue perfect for the whole event!

This event was a mini version of sorts, and was really a lead up to the bigger festival they are planning to have at the end of the year. It was fantastic to see everybody all dressed up and even more exciting to see the number of girls wearing Miss Happ. We even had one little young fan insist on her mum buying her a Miss Happ hair flower with a mini dice in the middle, and she loved it!

Miss Happ traded from 4pm until sunset, and had a great time! We were lucky enough to get a little glimpse of the lovely ladies from Les blondes perform in the afternoon - the looked fab in the Miss Happ fly girl hats and really embodied the whole 40's war time style so well.

Later on in the evening after we had packed up we grabbed a bite to eat from the El burro food truck who serve the most delicious Mexican food in Cape Town. That was followed on by a little booty shaking as we got to enjoy the rockin' tunes of Them Tornados.

We had a ball and look forward to the next event!

Till next time,
MH xx
